After 14 years as a Director and share-holder Jacqui McQueen has made the decision to leave Zodiac Training.

After 14 years as a Director and share-holder Jacqui McQueen has made the decision to leave Zodiac Training.

Jacqui and Lilian built up Zodiac Training from a small office in Sunderland with one member of staff into one of the largest private Training Providers in the North East with 8 offices across the region, a staff of 170 and an annual turnover in excess of £7m.

Jacqui feels that the time is right for her to dedicate more time to her family life and the pursuit of other personal ambitions. Jacqui is leaving the business in the strongest possible position and, whilst she is sad to be leaving her friends and colleagues, she is going out on a high.

Jacqui said, 'When Lilian and I set up the company in 1996 we had ambitious plans for growth, but I never imagined just how successful Zodiac would become. It's incredible to take stock nearly 14 years later and appreciate what we have built together. The business could not be in better shape both financially and in terms of the wonderful team of staff we have'.

Lilian Mains remains the company's Managing Director. Having purchased Jacqui's share of the business, she and her husband Brian now wholly own Zodiac Training.

Lilian said, 'Jacqui and I have worked together building Zodiac to the strong position it is currently in, as one of the larger, long standing private Providers in the UK, I wish her happiness and success in everything she does'.
