ALP Conference, 13th/14th May 2009 - “The Forum for Employment and Skills”
We are now releasing more details of this year's ALP conference which is taking place in May at the East Midlands Convention Centre, Nottingham.
The conference, which we are delighted will this year be sponsored by our partners at EDI, will feature a strong line-up of speakers, including:

James Clappison MP (Shadow Minister for Work) (tbc)

Jane Williams (Executive Director of FE Regeneration and Delivery at Becta)

Simon Waugh (incoming Chief Executive of the new National Apprenticeship Service)

Andy Powell (Chief Executive of Edge Foundation)
•
John McNamara (CEO of the Alliance of Sector Skills Councils)
More speaker details will be announced soon and there will of course be a range of workshops and an extensive exhibition area.
We are pleased to confirm that we are holding delegate rates to those of last year. ALP members will enjoy a rate of £200/day; non-members £270/day; whilst registered Charities (who are not members of ALP) will be eligible for a discounted rate of £220/day. Discounted accommodation will also be available at local hotels and a Gala Dinner will be held on the evening of the 13th.
