NOTICE OF EXTRA-ORDINARY MEETING

In accordance with section 9 of the constitution I am giving formal notice of an extrordinary general meeting to be

held at Springboard Sunderland

on Thursday 20 November 2008

commencing at 10.00am.

The proposed changes relate to the possibility of widening the Association's remit by amalgamating with the Northumberland Association of Learning Providers (NALP).

A copy of the proposed changes will be displayed on this website no later than 14 days before the meeting.

Please note that this is a members only meeting - that is members who have paid their subscription for the calendar year 2008.

9. Alteration to the Constitution

This constitution and any proposed amendments to it must receive the assent of not less than two thirds of the votes cast by those Full Members present at the Annual or Extraordinary General meeting for which it is called and discussed. The secretary will give 28 days notice of such a meeting and any proposed amendments to the constitution must be submitted in writing to the Secretary at least fourteen days prior to the meeting,
